Best of the Best — Adelaide’s most valuable houses
IF YOU are looking to add value to your home — the eastern suburbs could be the best spot in Adelaide to invest.
CoreLogic’s annual ‘Best of the Best’ report shows seven of the top 10 suburbs with five year change in median value in the state were in the east.
Hazelwood Park topped the list with a 37 per cent median value change.
The suburb has a median value of $819,936 from its 43 sales for the five years to September.

Toop & Toop Real Estate agent Marie Brus said Hazelwood Park has a lot to offer.
“Hazelwood Park is a lifestyle suburb for lots of people,” she said.
“Traditionally, you have the larger allotments, so people who are moving to the area want to be close to the city but still hold on that lifestyle with more land.”
Torrens Park, with a median value of $747,306 from 42 sales and a change of 33.7 per cent, came in second.
Walkerville rounded out the top three recording a change of 32.2 per cent with median value of $1,047,248 from 45 sales.
Both Hyde Parkand Mile End recorded 30.5 per cent median value changes.
Hawthorn, Unley, Daw Park, Hectorville and Burnside also made the top 10.
